71 Vette Trans question.
In my 71 there is a 350 turbo trans. I know it should have a 400. Any way, the speedo does not work. I checked the cable from the trans to the speedo. No problem, worked fine. I pulled the gear out of the trans it appears to be good. Do the 350 and 400 use the same type speedo gear? Any help would be appreciated.

Look inside the tailhousing. Sometimes the little clip breaks or the gear just slips on the shaft for the speedo.
