My uncle has a 1970 ragtop, the turn signals have died. The left front parking light went bad first, then later no signals. Have brake lights, and if you try a signal with brakes on the opposite way of the signal the light goes out.
So far this has been tried, new bulb in LF parking light, relay for turn signals been changed, new turn signal switch in steering column.

Make sure that there is a good ground (black wire) at the light socket.
Attach a wire to a good ground and test the socket by touching the wire to the brass.
The hazard flasher is in the fuse box
The directional flasher is under the passenger's side dash.
Did you change the correct one?

Thanks for the help.
Yes I changed the correct flasher for the turn signal, or my uncle did, I'm assuming the flasher is good.
