Default Problem with vacuum

Hi everybody,


I have a problem with the vacuum of my C3 1970 automatic transmission big block 454, and I can't find the problem because I think I dont have the correct diagram.


Someone can help me to find the diagram plese ?


2) can you tell me what is this lever for ?

that lever is not stock.
if you have vacuum problems first thing isolate all vacuum hoses and record engine base line vacuum.
start adding hoses 1 at a time, until you find your leaks.

That lever?? You will have dig around under the dash and see what it is connected to. Or at least report back if it has wires OR hoses connected to it.

FWIW: The assembly instruction manual (AIM) shows the factory vaccum system, the connections, color codes, etc. and includes headlight switch and overrides under the dash. Helpful when chasing vacuum connections.

That lever is not stock; but it looks like it is taking the place of the trip odometer reset **** (pull down and turn to reset to 0000).

I don't think its the trip odometer, 3 hoses are connected
I need to start all over again !!!!

It appears to be a 3 way vacuum valve, not Orginal

And much larger line without the factory colored striping to help you figure out what is what. If you can help, try to troubleshoot what you have without taking the driver's dash panel off, that is a nightmare to put back on correctly. 10 pounds in a 5 pound hole.
