Today I added antifreeze and water to the radiator...it was low. I started the car and let it heat up at idle with the cap off. All was going well and the thermostat opened up.
Then all hell broke loose. Coolant started geysering out the filler neck. Literally a 3 foot geyser rocketing out of my radiator filler. The geyser was mostly a nice neon green color and right as I got the engine shut down, it was a brownish color. The puddle of coolant on the ground next to the car looked like it had oil in it.
Alas, I fear my daily driver is broken. All I can guess is blown head gaskets. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: HELP!!! (rainman69)
Maybe you added too much, too quickly? Maybe there's an air-pocket in the system?
In my experience, steam would be spewing out the exhaust pipe and there'd be coolant in your oil if it were caused by a head gasket. There might even be coolant spill from the head/block seam.
Before I added an overflow tank to my '70, it constantly vommitted after shut down.
Did you possibly have a hose (maybe the lower hose) collapse? The coolant would have no where to go except out of the filler. Hopefully the color is just light rust.
I tend to drain my cooling system, fill it with water, run the car till it's nice and warm, drain the water then put in the antifreeze/water to run till next time
