Anty recommendations on a replacement part. The one I took out didnt have service port. Seems replacements all have them and I am concerned about it fitting right. Converting to r134a. Thanks
I ...personally would go with an AC Delco part myself....if still available. I would not be concerned about an added port. Like you....all I care about is that I can install it.
if you are NOT going to be the one pulling a vacuum on the system ad or checking the orifice tube/etc...i would call the AC shop that will be doing it and see what they recommend... if a Delco part is not available.
I recently put in one of these http://www.ebay.com/itm/291302821543?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AITIt seemed like decent quality and I was able to choose the tube which would work best with my custom upgraded AC system.
