Default 72 Decoding - "help please"

I just purchased a 72 Corvette coupe (my first) and would like some help to decode the following:-

VIN# 1Z37K2S511885
Engine manuf.# V0912W1
Diff# LRW010E1

Unfortunately I bought this car less the trim tag which was lost by the painter who removed it for painting. I can confirm that the partial VIN number on the motor & gearbox match the vehicle. Is there a way of confirming the trim tag details without having the build sheet (could not find a tank sticker etc.)?

Thanks, Terry

PS. I am using my brothers user name if you are wondering about the C2karl?

Good Luck wih your new72. Your Vin number indicates that you have a 72 coupe with a base 350 [200 hp] manufactured in Jan 72. Your engie code indicates that t is not the engine form your car. To determine what rear in thecar you need a 2 alpha codesuch as AX [3.36]

Terry, your rear is a 3.36 as indicated by the LR, the w is part of the other numbers, just checked my ncrs book, have fun. Hope there is no problem without a vin plate, big pain here in texas without one.

Congrats on your purchase Terry! I noticed that your car is about 100 units newer than my -72, probably built the same or following day

Regarding the trim tag info, I haven't heard that it could be verified anywhere else than the build sheet. The build date on mine is F19 ( jan 19th ) so I presume yours could be the same.
