73 Brake warning light
I have swapped out the engine wire harness, and installed all new brake parts, including the proportioning valve. Not driving the car yet, but I have a solid brake pedal. The brake warning light will not go out. Is there something that needs adjusting? A short somewhere? I stink at 12V electrical work. Any suggestions? Thank you to the C3 guys.

Since you've replaces the valve... unplug it and see if the light goes out, I'm pretty sure it's neg triggered so it should.
The light is also wired to the parking brake handle.... is the handle fully down?

Brake warning light
The light stays on if the proportioning valve wire is connected or not. I replaced all the parking brake hardware, will check the handle position, and wires there. Thanks very much, hope I can solve this one.
