Default Oil Pan Fit Guide?

I have a 1980 Corvette with a 350 in it. About to pull the motor and do a full rebuild on it, and the oil pan needs to be replaced.

Done a bit of searching around, but haven't found much information on it yet.

Any suggestions? Anything to be careful about? I'm mostly worried about fit/clearance.

Any recommendations for one in particular that's worked well for someone in the past?

Thanks in advance.

Edit: Mostly wondering about aftermarkets. Worth it? Stick with a stock 4qt? The car will see some track time, etc. Top end is all aluminum already.

Purchase one or two of the How To Rebuild Your Smallblock Chevrolet books. There isn't much mystery involved with removing and replacing an oil pan.

I recently replaced the oil pan on my 80 with the only pan listed for that year on rockauto.com. Used a one piece rubber gasket and had no issues.

Yea, a stock replacement is straightforward enough. I was more of wondering if there were any obvious fitment issues with an aftermarket, etc. If it was worth going to a 5+qt pan while I'm at it? Aluminum? Or stick with steel? If so, may as well do a zinc plated one, eh?

For example.... I'm thinking about something like this... http://kmjperformance.com/small-bloc...up-gasket.html
