Less than 1deg - I wouldn't worry much. In a perfect world it would be level (side to side). I would measure from the carb flange and not the air filter. There is a certain amount of slop in the mounts, and the engine tends to twist up on the drivers side and down on the passenger because of its rotation direction. I would just check that everything was tight and in good condition - whether it was new or not. After this amount of time things could have happened in the past - and who is to say your fenders could be a slight bit off.
you must be bored, I think what you have is normal
I was doing something else in the garage and placed my level across the car on the air cleaner and noticed it wasn't even on both sides. I was just curious. I am not worried about anything just asking.
the engine installation angle is published at 3 degrees in the factory specifications, if that helps...they list clearance from oil pan to ground and flywheel to ground as well as angle of approach...all the measurements for frame, body, interior, etc. are available in the factory spec manual which you can download for free...I did...if you're ever board, lots of interesting data published...

I think you will find that the 3 deg number you quote is for front to back angle – not side to side as the OP asked. The 3 deg down in the rear is for driveline angles, and why some intake manifolds have the carb flange milled at an angle to allow for a level carb.
Just as likely the fenders are uneven. These cars weren't built to the highest standards (to put it mildly). My rear deck was 1/2" higher on one side, bonded crooked at the factory.

yes front to back, missed that he meant side to side. obviously it is supposed to be level that way...and yeah, <1 deg. side to side is nothing to worry about, considering variation in tires, bushing, ball joints, engine mounts, frame, etc...that's why they publish all those specs. if he wants to figure out what is off, start measuring and compare to the published figures...any accident over the years could have been repaired and brought "close enough", or just wear and tear...

I just checked mine since we have essentially the same ZZ engine. Mine is virtually level. I checked tire pressure and measured from my garage floor. I wouldn't be concerned about your setup.
How many miles have you put on on the engine, I have about 2k miles and very happy that I went the ZZ383 crate route last summer.
