This is a new thread, Got a few replies from my other think, I need to give more info. I have a 77 L-82 corvette and, I run hot. It is all stock now radiator fan everything. I have had the radiator flushed and the block that was fine. Changed the hoses, if it is like 80 out and, I am going 60 down the road it stays around 190 if, I get out and up to 75-80 the temp just starts going up, I have not let it boil over but the temp will go up to around 230 and keep going up this also happens if, I get stuck in traffic. I really read what people post and have tried it all that is why, I was thinking of going to a aluminum radiator with dual fans. I want a direct fit and have been checking out lots of places and they all say direct fit but they are 2 row to 4 row and the sizes vary. This is why, I wanted to know if anybody knew what size the stock radiator was and how many rows it had. Never had this problem with my 78 that, I had before this one. Any help would be great.
Thanks to all

I always check the temperature with a mechanical gauge and then see how it compares to the electric gauge. Chances are you don't have a heating problem at all but rather a mismatched sender/gauge.
Check the archives. Are all the rad seals in place, especially at top rad support and chin spoiler?
My bet is:
1)old clogged radiator (especially at hi speeds/rpm)
2)fan clutch worn out
3)make sure rad and coolant bottle are FULL...burp as needed. Rad cap should allow coolant and air to escape from rad, then have coolant flow back into rad when cold.
