Dang cross member....
Putting the motor and trans in by myself was an all day job, but it's in now!!!!, now to get it all ready to fire,
If the trans cross member could be in bolted, it would've been a lot easier.

You can get an allen head in silver that is a lot shorter and still looks pretty cool. Just saying

I know what you just went through. Looks great!
I just installed my SB with 700r4 and crossmember is a bolt out.
Man, you just installed a BB with crossmember in....tough job.
All worth in the end and hard par is over.

I used the allen head bolts and have a set of long "T" handle wrenches for tightening - they look great and eliminate the all those long extensions.

Dang cross member....
I'm just using regular nuts on the T handle stud, you'd really have to look hard to see them anyway.
