That was one of the "other" brands that the obx pipes were also sold as.... and looks they went up about $200 from obx's price but now include the $30 mounting kit I had to buy on summit. There was another distributor that claimed they were made of a different grade of stainless too... It might have been XS-power... those were how they were sold before obx name..
BTW that seller is "taking preorders" for the pipes he does not yet have....
I sent a email to the seller of the exhaust on eBay, inquiring to whether or not he will be getting the non-resonated set in anytime soon.
In what world is xs-powers 1,250 plus shipping price better than the $650 or the $800 the same pipes are sold for from different distributors? They have gotten smart though now by taking off any close ups of the header flanges or other easily comparable areas that would give a way the origin of the pipes. Still a google image search reveals the exact same flanges and weld areas.
Sometimes I wonder if the cream of the crop gets sold as the more expensive brands and the ones with blems or slight fitment issues end up as obx and the like?
I had no issues with mine but the normal fitment issues shared with the hooker brand pipes I researched... and the barkeepers friend seemed to completely stop any discoloring/rust from forming anywhere. I did have some light brown tarnished spots prior to that though.
