Default Another Birdcage Question

Looking around at used rocker channel listings and had a question. With the exception of seat belt mounts are they all the same? Thanks in advance, just trying to pick up some knowledge on CF.

Possibly not. The 76-82 steel floor rockers might be different than the earlier cars.

69 side pipe cars had their own rockers.

I do not want to hi-jack the thread, but what is the difference between a side-pipe car rocket channel vs non-side-pipe car rocker channel?
I ask because I intend to install factory side-pipes on my 69' small block that did not originally come with side-pipes.

I think Mike might be referring to the rocker moldings, not channels.

It looks like the 70 - 74 used a different rocker channel than 75-81.
There is no listing for 68-69, probably no longer offered at the time of publication, 1981.

The channel is referred to as REINFORCEMENT, DR SILL.

Hope this helps...

I don't think there is a difference Joe, or at least I hope not since I will be doing the same side pipe install to my 69. I think we are okay.
Sorry didn't mean to disrupt the thread.

Sorry for the delay, Thanks for all the information. CF is a great hobbyist resource. If I do come across some usable channel I know what years now.
