Fuel line routing question
I'm attempting to replace my fuel pump on my 1970 350/350. The previous owner put a different fuel pump on (did not have a vapor return line) and the fuel inlet fitting came off oriented toward the front of the car. I bought the "correct" fuel pump with a vapor return line, and the fuel in line comes off the pump oriented toward the passenger/rear quadrant of the car.
The fuel line coming from the tank is a hard line and it terminates near the frame. I'm trying to connect a rubber fuel line from the end of the hard line and go down to the fuel pump. However, there is so little room in there, and I can't figure out how to make the rubber line bend/route such that it doesn't put a kink in the rubber line and significantly restrict, if not cut off, the fuel supply.
Does anyone have any tips? What am I doing wrong? Any pictures of how their set-up is?

have a photo of the hoses connected, but I have a photo of the
hoses on the fuel lines.
I ordered the lines from one of the vendors. Corvette Central I think.
It is hard to reach, but mine have been in use since last Dec. without
any problems.
