Sonim restoring my dash in my 77, and not alot was there to go on in the first place. My question is this. I bought the new bezel for the smal gauges in the center console and the the two ac vents at the top of the bezel. Where can I get the hardware for those vents, and honestly I'm not sure there is even hardware for it. Never seen it together
Do you have the assembly instruction manual (AIM)? The AIM shows how the dash, center cluster, and HVAC ducting were installed. If you feel your car is missing some of these items, the AIM will show them and list the original GM part numbers for them.
If memory serves, the center AC outlets clip into the backside of the cluster bezel.

If you have a Haynes manual, put it on the top shelf of your bookcase and never look at it again. You NEED the AIM (Assembly Instruction Manual) and the Chevrolet Chassis Service Manual for your model year. Other manuals are OK; but I've seen anything in any other manual that wasn't in the AIM and/or CSM. Haynes manuals are for those who only change light bulbs and/or fuses....and nothing else.
