You will most likely need only Paper #2. Paper #2 starts with an explanation on how to remove the steering column from the car. I am not sure that you will need to remove it. Carefully "dropping it down" may provide access to the dimmer switch fasteners without completely removing it.
The dimmer switch is attached to the steering column jacket using two of the same fasteners that attach the ignition switch. Paper #2, Page 4 describes replacing the dimmer switch.
