Power seats in 1977
I would like to put in power seat rails in my 1977 corvette. It looks like the 1981 or 1982 might work with some wiring modifications. Has anyone done this? My wife is short and can't see over the hood with the stock seat rails.

when they started putting in power drivers seats they lowered the drivers side seat pan. I bought a power seat rack for my 1978 but it sat about 2 inches higher than stock at its lowest point so I didn't install it. If you are interested it is for sale with newly rebuilt motor and all the switches.

The 81-82 power driver's seat requires a different floor pan than in your car in order to accomodate the seat motors. You'd have to rework your floor pan or replace it to make this swap.
