just redid the 454 now 489 in the 73 and I am a little concerned about the rear end now as I have 575 horse and 590 torque. also would like to change out the 3.23 gear, who is the most reasonable to get parts for a new set up & make it stronger?
IMHO you'll need to upgrade to Tom's parts. You'll need to consider stronger spindles, half shafts and differential, how strong depends on if you'll ever run sticky tires at the tracks and whether you have a manual or automatic.

sorry I am not familiar with toms, can you send a link to the site? thank you
Tires will tell you how much you have to spend.
As said above sticky tires will hurt a lot of things.
Automatics have less shock to the driveline than a stick.
What is the intended use of the car?
If you can live with breaking the tires loose, it is easier on the rest.
wow thanks!! can't take the credit though as my best bud Aaron came up with the build and also put it together for me, could not have done it without him- he is the best!!!!!!!
