1977. I live in a state that has no emissions. My car has headers. It doesn't have heat or air conditioning. Can I remove all the hoses on the junction switches that I have circled in red? I want to get a chrome thermostat housing that doesn't have the port on it and I want to remove and plug up the port that has the other switch on it.
Over the years people have done repeatedly so I guess you could! Are you removing the egr valve and other items of the system.
What are you going to use to open the heat riser on the passenger side? You'd have to remove that from the system or knock out the center.
There is no heat riser on the passenger side. My car has headers on it so I don't have the heat riser on the passenger side or the heater hose connection on the drivers side that goes to the stock air cleaner. I also don't have the stock air cleaner. My air cleaner has no ports on it. I have no EGR valve. I blocked it off with a plate. The only hoses I want to hook up are the vacuum advance for the distributor, the brake booster, the vacuum hose for my headlights, the line that goes to the charcoal canister and my PCV valve hose. I want to block off all the other ports on the carb and the manifold.
