Any ideas about how much i'm looking at to have my copper SB (26", 4 row)
radiator recored? No leaks, but it is over 30 years old.
I wanted to stay stock, and can not really afford an aluminum unit.
What have you paid?
Also, any suggestions as far as the best price for a core support? I see the popular catalogs want about $300 for one
Re: $$ for radiator recore and radiator support (7tea1)

i replaced my radiator core support after my old one rotted out so bad that the old radiator slid forward and the right tank was punctured on the corner of a frame bracket.... i shopped around and $300 bux is just the price to pay for it..... have to bite the bucket on that one...

Help me out guys, but he should have the shroud in place before replacing the radiator. As I recall it was a S.O.B. to get that shroud in after the radiator!
