Oil Stains

I am going to resurface my garage, put a nice epoxy on it but I need to clean it first, I have several very large and deep oil stains. Some of these stains are almost 10 years old. I don't want to go thru all the trouble if the epoxy won't adhere to the surface, any opinions or sugestions would be accepted :confused:

Home Depot will have a cleaner for driveways, cement etc...comes in 5 gallon pails. Varsol works well too. You'll need a stiff brush.

a while back, someone suggested grinding cat litter into the stain with a small block of wood. haven't tried it, but it sounds like a great idea to me.

Simple Green seems to work the best for me as I do it so often! :crazy:
