72 Seat shims
Does anyone have a good set of close-up photos of the seat shims for a 72? This is the seat of round washer-like shims and the long rectangular ones. I am going to Carlisle and this is one of the obscure and minor treasures that I am looking for. I have only seen them once. Any sources with good photos is appreciated.
Same thing for the "U" shaped wire that holds the two power steering hoses together. I am looking for photo showing what this looks like.

Sal Carbone also sells the correct shim kit within the correct white bag/red stitching. The bag looks like a mini tobacco pouch with a "purse string" pull. Round shims go under the "stopper", rectangular shims go under the "catch". The PS hose clip looks like the Greek letter "omega". The "Omega" clips are available from just about all the catalog guys. I know that Corvette Central just brings their computer banks to take orders...no parts. Dr. Rebuild just brings a few things, and gives out catalogs. Be sure to get a Dr. Rebuild catalog. It's the "standard" of the industry in my opinion. Chuck
