Diff Bearing Caps
What should the radius or inside diameter of the C3 iron diff bearing cap be? When held in the hand and pressing the race into the cap, one of my caps squeezes the race 0.010" sideways, and there are no burrs. The vertical diameter is about 0.002" smaller than the race dimension when torqued. Should I bore out the stock cap radius, or fit and install an aftermarket steel cap?
