Default steering skips

I've just replaced control arm bushings, put vbp 550 springs in and blistein sport shocks in. Did the alignment myself. Also put a new ps control valve in a year ago but haven't drivin it until now.

The problem is at slow speeds or stopped when I turn the wheel the tires seem to skip or jerk. Could this just be air in the lines or the alignment or the gear box? BTW it seem to be worse turning left.

Are you saying the steering wheel feels jerky when you are at a complete stop and turn the wheels?

Yes. I wouldn't say it's severe but it's definitely enough to drive me crazy.

It's like the front wheels hop while turning. Doesn't require any extra force on the steering wheel.

could just be air bubbles in the steering pump and hoses. Put it up on jack stands and turn the wheels from lock to lock a few times. this may "burp" the air out of the system...

And you can adjust the control valve while you're at it, if it needs it, perfect time with the front wheels up.
