John, lars wrote a paper (I hope the above link is to the lars timing paper!!) that explains it so clearly and it is so easy that EVEN I COULD DO IT!!!! :lol:
The trick is to remove the springs from your distributor first so the full timing comes in almost immediately. With the springs in you would have to be standing over your engine with a timing light at 5000 rpm which you really don't want to be doing! :) MJ
