Default Oil Pressure

Is 65 lbs of oil pressure at highway speed (2500-2800 RPM) OK for a sb 383 chevy engine? I run 10-30 oil with a pint of camshaft break in oil. Hot oil pressure at idle is 35 lbs. About 6,000 miles on engine.
Thanks,Dave

Good pressure. But what gauge are you using? OEM or after market?
I swapped all my gauges for Autometer's few years ago, they are more accurate.

To the OP...perfect numbers. Even could be a little lower you would be fine! Stick with a 10w-30 for sure!
