Spark plug recommendations please
"XCH" LS7 motor, not the new one but the old 454 iron head 12.25 compression engine. It has the iron 990 heads, HEI ignition, running it the way it came out of the crate using VP110 fuel. I have researched but can not find what spark plug was recommended for this application. Any guidance on a plug and gap with a delco HEI distributor would be appreciated. Thanks

Also, current distributor does not have a tach cable connection. Was looking cost effect replacement with tach hook up. Summit racing has part number SUM-850001-T it is a Summit HEI unit with mechanical tach hook up. Has anyone used this or have opinions on it or other cost effective options.
