Engine cooling / Thermostat question
1) I don't care about ECM and injection as my car is 71 with a good old 750cfm Quadrajet.
2) I understand the early design included a 180F thermostat while the 195F came later for emission purpose and not for the better functioning of the engine.
3) I forgot about the 160F which would slow down the warm up too much for me, and consider the 180F instead.
