Shock mounts appear bent
Before I order new ones, I assume they should be "square" trailing arm to shock...is that correct? Don't want to buy new ones if they are supposed to be offset.
How would these bend like this on the car?...they sure seem stout.

The main reason I replace them is IF the splines on the main shaft...that you knocked out are worn...so when I go and put it through the bearing support housing and it takes NO EFFORT to seat it...due to the splines are worn down....I REPLACE IT!
YES..I know that the castle nut gets tightened quite a bit....and 'thinking' that the flat spot on the threaded shaft does anything at all in keeping the lower shock mount bolt positioned where it need to be is NOT true. The grade of metal of the main shaft is soft...because IF you whack it with a hammer...you will distort it. SO....thinking that the flat spot is actually going to not give way if it contacts with the flat notch of the bearing support housing....guess again....and do not ask me how I know this FACT!
So it is up to you if you want new ones or re-use what you have.
IF the shaft where the shock absorber is also badly worn, pitted, and just basically crappy looking...I replace it. I have seen some that were really scary looking and just slam ate up!

Going with heim joint struts on this job.
