Need some help again. 71 sb 350 4sp all stock qjet that was rebuilt about 6 months ago. Took the car out for ride yesterday and everything was fine, then when I let out the clutch it sounded like the carb was loading up with gas. Once I got going it was fine and if I stomped on it same thing. Any ideas
LOTS of possibilities. But, my #1 suggestion would be for you to search out any vacuum leaks in the vacuum system and intake manifold (gaskets, valley cover seals).

They can go bad in less time then that.
Remove the air cleaner and see if you get 2 strong squirts when you move the throttle linkage.
You might need this type of replacement.
1. Did you check for vacuum leaks as previously suggested?
2. Did you check the condition of your points, rotor, cap, and plug wires?
3. Did you check your dwell and initial timing?
4. Did you try adjusting the idle mixture screws for best idle?

With the low cost of wide band O2 monitors its difficult to ignore buying one. Since your '71 dosnt have cats u dont even need to have the exh pipe drilled and welded for a sensor bung - u can just stick in the tailpipe to tune with.
A WB A/F monitor doesnt lie. If your running lean it will tell u. If your running rich it will tell u. If your A/F mix is correct and u still bog it means your timing is off (or u have some serious mechanical problems).
Even a bad PCV or a vacuum leak will show a bad fuel mix. I can make guesses across the internet all day and all night. But a WB is telling the truth in real time.
ok no vaccum leaks timing was good, but I did find a broken end on the coil wire fixed that and it seams find now. Time will tell I am going to put a new set of wires on.
Thanks for all of the imput.
