I recently bought a 68 vette was told it had a 427 non matching #s
I've tried to identify the engine but no luck
On the front passenger side just below the Heads I got CJ330780 ... Above the timing cover I got T1015PLO on the back of block I got 14015445
I would appreciate any feedback I think it may be a 454 but the PLO suffix is killing, lol at this point the suffix may as well be LOL

Thanks I did some research awhile back and got the same info but wasn't definitive. That is why I thought it might be a 454. But the suffix code on front above timing cover is messed up, I guess there a book with newer than 1985 suffix codes that I can't locate. Wondering if the PLO was a police car 454. I know the T is for Tonawanda and the 1015 is for Oct. 15th PLO??? LOL
