Is there someone who can help med find the brackets to the front fender.
There is one on each side bolted together with the frame.
Both mine are missing!
It works without but probably god to have in a colision.
Corvette c3 1972.

Hi R,
Here are a couple of pictures that show the area in the drawing that W posted.
#7 is the frame extension that carries the forward crossmember and #10 is the corner bumper bracket.
You're right in thinking they're good to have in place just to mount the bumper properly…. hopefully they'll never be needed in a crash.
Regards,
Alan

Hi yes its number 10 i'm after,
But it seems overkill with the 10 bracket, the fender have multiple fastening points, but of course it should be there
Aldo I need everything in front of bracket number 10.

Also what kind of fasteners you use for mounting them, looks like small rivets( do you call them that?)
Regards robban

You'll need the extension part listed at the same link for number 10... https://willcoxcorvette.com/corvette...-bracket-70-72

Bumper bolt kit will have the bolts you need to mount them.

Isn't the fender bolted to the body on various locations?.
It seems the main construction for the extension bracket is to support the hole front body aswell?

Hi R,
There are 2 small brackets forward of #10.
I'm not sure what rivets you're referring to? Perhaps those that hold the reinforcement to the front edge of the hood surround?
Regards,
Alan

Hi c3 dk,
My restoration days are over so I can have a laminate floor in my basement garage.
I need to be careful with it though!

Hi R,
The seals were attached using staples.
You should still see the holes from the originals in the fiberglass apron.
Look at the last pic in post #3.

Alan

Hi John,
While I try not to be bubba, I can really screw things up trying to do things I don't know how to do!
Luckily I don't mind re-doing things over, and over, and over!

Alan

Hi John,
Coming to Denmark sounds interesting but it would probably have to be during the summer because I don't do well in FRIDGID weather.

I compared the small brackets at the end of bracket number 10 willcox showed and those on your car, doesn't look the same, how they are bent.
