Default 1980 Electrical Question

Got an 80 vette that has been off the road since 96. Fresh gas and oil runs amazing. The question I have is I have a lot of things that don't work. Dash lights, headlights, tail light, brake lights, blinkers, flasher.
Radio and PW work. Battery light stays in with car off. Is there some common link that I need to check?? Ground???
Any ideas would be great.

Check to see if your getting battery voltage to the power and line side of the fuses for those circuits. It could just be surface corrosion on the fuses.

I would suggest getting a wiring diagram for your car and a voltmeter then start testing. Below is a link from Google on the fuse block, hopefully this will give you a starting place. I purchased an enlarged laminated color wiring and vacuum diagram for my 69 which is invaluable for this type issue. The things you have listed are directly powered from the battery and do not go through a relay or ignition system. Since the car runs and radio ad power windows work is seems the ignition switch and peripherals are functional. Your issue is something on the primary feed from the battery probably prior to the fuse block or a grounding problem.

You can also have a look at your light switch , I have seen some with the backs melted and the wires burnt off.
