How many plugs do you have for your motor? My wiring is butchered and Im trying to piece it back together. I also have a flat blade plug that comes from the switch but I dont knobw what plugs in where. I have 3 wires coming out of the motor

Fortunately most of the wiring harness is there but my wiper motor has no plugs. It looks like the appropriate motor.
I believe the flat blade with the green, lt blue, yellow comes from the switch but the light blue with the brass tip is a mystery too
Mine has a 2 wire flat spade terminal plug [yellow & blue] that plugs into the washer pump. Some 68s used the bullet terminals there. There is also a flat spade 3 terminal plug [yellow, blue and green] that plug onto the motor housing under the washer assy. T
Hi RR,
I believe the single blue and yellow wires with the barrel type connectors are for the washer pump.
Here's their location/connection on a 71 motor/pump.
Also the rest of the electrical connections, I'm unsure how a 68 motor/pump's (if that's what's on your car) connections may be different.
Regards,
Alan
Perhaps a picture of your motor/pump (with the black plastic cover removed) will help people figure out what year the motor is and how to make the electrical connections.

It looks a lot like yours I'm guessing Bubba put in the wrong motor

The 1968 wiper motor and wiring is unique to that year, before you worry about the wiring, make sure you have the correct motor. If it is from a 68 it should have 5044683 stamped on the end cap.
I'm not as savvy as alot of guys on this board about the 68 specifics so I ordered one of the Dr rebuild wiring diagrams it has pictures of all the connectors and is year and model specific. It's helped me out alot. It's laid out alot better than looking at the mess of normal wiring diagrams.

Thanks what color is the other wire attached to your washer pump, I can see the dark blue one in the corner of the pic but not the other. Looking at wiring diagrams I'm guessing its yellow
Thanks

I found wilcox wiper repair test procedures that has a good break down of what should be happening when. I should be able to get this going when I get all the parts http://repairs.willcoxcorvette.com/1...ess-schematic/
double check your wiper motor when you get it that it is correct and wired properly internally. many motors sold as '68 are not. PO of my '68 had wiper issues, motor did not work, and 2 others came with car. had to put proper motor in which was incorrect from autozone...had to re-do it myself.
MEMORIZE every piece of '68 wiper motor paraphernalia from Wilcox!!

Ive been going of Wilcox info, papwanas wiring diagram, and the GM wiper information bullitin, I will be testing it before it gets too far from the box. I still can't figure out what the motor goes too in my car. It fits and looks proper but doesn't have the 3 blades for the switch wiring , just the 3 wires coming out of the motor through the big grommet. its strange but it runs just isn't able to be wired correctly
