Default door and window seal quality

Hello all, I am replacing door seals on a 71 convertible. I purchased a set from Eclers and the are terrible.
The outer window seal leaves a gap across the top of the door almost all the way down and at the latch end curves the opposite of the door. The main door seal molded end leaves a gap and does not tuck under door edge. (see pic) to see how bad they are.

who makes the best seals?

I saw in a past post that Willcox uses crc. Is that Corvette Rubber and are they the best?

CRC doesn't make the outer seals... but there are two different vendors on this product. I can't tell from your picture but one set is made by PUI which as a rubber wiper with no "cat hair" on it. (basically it's junk)

The other is a rubber wipe but it has some "Hair" to it... 286062 is what you would want.. they seem to fit better than anything else on the market..

But.......... (A BIG BUTT)

I'm not sure you didn't get the good wipes.. why???? Because what I did notice in your picture.. Your missing the outer moulding trim. without this the outer wipe isn't going to fit worth beans.... There should be three beads not one on the outer... the mouldig has two, the wipe has one..

You need the following:

Outer door felt molding left and right.

Convertible outer wipe.

Hi j,
Here's the typical configuration. I believe it shows the addition parts that W indicates you're missing.
Regards,
Alan

There's a slight difference on a coupe so you need to be sure you have the right pieces for your car's body style.
