the cast metal bracket on my 77 wiper switch is broken. I have tried super glue, jb weld and neither held. I know the part does not exist so how do i work around the switch and get wipers and signals back. by chance would anyone have the bracket or a none working switch i could steal the bracket from. I know I can move the wiper switch but what can I do with the signals. Would a later year some how be able to be put in my car?

You can easily repair zinc castings by sandblasting the area then adding steel reinforcements and J.B. Weld. The sandblasting is very necessary as that gives the epoxy a good surface to bond to. And only use the slow-set J.B. Weld because its so much stronger. You can speed-cure the epoxy in your oven at 130-140 degrees for a couple of hours.
This was a one year only Corvette switch. I was always told that the switch was the same for Corvettes and Chevettes. I will try to confirm that the 7832110 listed in the eBay add is correct for the 1977 Vette.
I do not know if the wash/wipe dimmer pivot is the same for the standard (non-adjustable) steering column as well as the T&T.
