Quick Help!! '74 Stock Converter
What is the rated stall for the converters used in '74 L82/LS4?
I have the tranny in the shop and the pump has to be rebuilt,
the guy told me the clutches are ok, but the converter has
to be replaced and the pump has to be rebuilt.
He said a higher stall converter would not be a good idea
for the tranny because it is "stock" and i would probably
break something. Same thing for the shift kit i want to install.
Any ideas before i go ahead the pump/stock converter with this guy?
I want to get it started today so i can get it tommarow.
