Eliminating parking brake -
Well, the project has begun -'77 that needed everything, was headed for the junkyard, instead I'm turning into a race car to take to Bonneville (if they ever get enough salt again).
I don't need the parking brake, all the hardware was gone, cables cut etc.
So I'm wondering if I can use another rotor to eliminate the mini brake drum as right now it's just a rust catcher.
Thanks & any other race car tips are appreciated,
Frank

The "brake" drum of the rotor is also the spacer that offsets the rotor enough to reach the calipers. So it has two purposes.
I have searched & searched - there was someone who posted ( a while ago ) a replacement rotor from another vehicle that worked, and I think they also used a different caliper that had the parking brake built into it.
Happy Motoring
