How do we read these drawings? Really I am wondering how to read the one for the TPI since I'm going to a similar setup.... see pic below the drawing. It would appear that my engine already has a Tranny stud for the TV Cable but I thought I would ask???

good drawings but they leave out total cable travel, unless I ain't seeing it.

the drawings show where the stud for the cable needs to be on the throttle shaft.

so many units above the center of throttle or below and the total turning of the throttle plates.

from memory, uhhh, I think the cable must travel about .700 of an inch from idle to full throttle.

also at idle, the cable needs to be positioned so it
has, memory again, 200 psi.

sorry it has been a long time since I did and thought about it.

Thanks for posting this. I'm making plans to do the same trans-plant in the near future.

Performed the swap and everything works great. Like the quieter cabin noise at 70 MPH in overdrive. And the extra punch on take off with the lower 1st gear. I recommend the swap. No cross member swap required, as all i did was remove the THM 350 bracket. The 200 4r uses the same mounting holes as the old 700 within 1/16". Art Carr at CPT answered all my questions every time I called. .
