Default metering blocks

yea i know, its christmas eve afternoon and here i am foolin with my toys.i got a couple hours before i have to be santa. so anyway i'm going to set up my 750h.p. 80528-2 and was looking things over and was not to familiar with the metering block that came with it. they do not look like my other blocks. enclosed is a picture with the measurements i made and what i think the locations are.the .032 i think is the idle air bleed.the .104 is in a location i thought was the ifr,but that seems like a huge hole for the ifr.not too sure what the .100 is. i have several 3310's and they are a little different than these blocks. thanks and have a good christmas

Did you measure the holes using drill bit shanks then mike the shanks? I have a complete set of number, fractional, and letter bits to make hole measuring easier.

the 0.032 restriction you have marked is the IFR, it is in the upper location. Holley used the upper location yours is in and the more standard (and my preferred) location at the bottom of the idle well plus they also sometimes used a IFR midway in-between the two in the idle well. I prefer the idle jet below the fuel level but any of the three will work.

I hope this helps Henry @ oles carb

thanks for the reply. i'm getting the too rich at idle stuff and am about ready to work on all the problems it could be.just had not seen a block with the ifr at that location yet.
