Corvette Guy (gal) : likes all Corvettes and appreciates a fine sportscar

I am always arguing about Corvettes abilites no matter what year, so that would make me a Corvette guy.
I also love my car even though the paint is shot and needs work. :cheers:

Thirty-five years ago, I was a Guy with a Corvette. Bought it for the performance and the prestige. Thirty-four years ago, I realized what I had and gradually (maturing helps) became a Corvette Guy.
But that's just my opinion......I could be wrong. :D

I'm a "Guy with a Corvette." However, my situation isn't based on "prestige":rolleyes: and I'm certainly not a poser. I detailed my thoughts in the related post. Basically I liked the look of the C3s since I was a little kid and wanted some kind of Chevy as a hobby car. I just killed two birds with one stone.

Untie the ropes and take off the cover,
Dust her blue body to reveal the shine.
In awe I stand before 'ole '68,
A classic that becomes greater with time.....
Open the door & get in -
I slide into the seat with a grin...
Crank the engine over to start,
She lumps at idle with a deep low sound,
Shift into reverse with the Hurst,
It's time drive the vette around.
First, second, and into third,
By the time I hit 4th is absolutely absurd !
With my vette burnin' rubber,
I churn through the gears,
Leavin' all cars in my dust,
With Corvette have "No Fear" !
You might think that I'm a finatic,
That this whole process is over the top,
But I'm a Corvette guy all the way through,
Everyday of my life, I'll never stop !!! :D

I have to say both to your question. I've loved C3s since I was a teen, I love the feeling I get just looking at it. I also love being seen in it so I guess I'm a bit of a poser as well. But I've always been a car guy. :D
BTW you still havn't delivered on the under hood pic's. :nono: :D

I've been a Gearhead/Carnut since early childhood working with my dad on our '55 Chevy (and others).
I became a Vettehead at age six when I got my first ride in one - - - Been hooked ever since :D

I have loved corvettes ever sense I was a kid. We had a neighbor that had a 76 when I was growing up and I loved the way that car looked and sounded. I bought one as soon as I could aford it. Now, I love the way they look, sound, and I just can't get enough of them! So, I am a Corvette guy!

Love the looks,but working on it is great too. I've still got the Vette models I made as a kid and probably get some new ones to build with my sons. I guess that makes me a Corvette guy with corvettes. :lol:
