This worked for me.
Remove the same boot from the new wire and move the string to the new wire and pull it back up.

Out, unfortunately, is easy. Getting the new ones back in is the trick. I never had much luck doing it though if you take the plug boot off, you'll have a fighting chance. On different occasions I did lift the motor and loosened the motor mount to route them stock and I also bypassed the mount and zip tied them to the mount.mount. The latter is a little half a$$ed but did work for quite some time.

I prefer Dawn with the blue color and original scent for my Corvette with BB, but Palmolive with new fresh scent for my RX-7. RA
