first determine the broken part.....
is it your odometer or both your odometer and speedometer???
if you speedo is working but your odometer aint then checkout my odometer gear replacement paper that can be found at http://www.corvettefaq.com it has lotsa pics...
if your speedo aint working then check the following...
1. pull the cable end from the tranny and hook a drill upto it with a flathead bit on it and spin it... is the speedo registering anything??
if NO, then pull other end of cable and spin it with drill and see if other end of cable is spinning... replace cable as necessary
if YES then its either one of the gears in the tranny.... id guess its the easy plastic one which is easy to replace.
