I am re doing the convertible deck lid in one spot because a repair is visible after it was buffed. The area is only about 3inch by 3inch and I have blocked it down. The problem is I sprayed som dp to seal it up and it did except for around the feather edge line. It is blistering up. I sanded the sealer off which is very difficult itself and then reprepped with dx330 cleaner/degreaser. and reapplied. It did it again. What is going on? Any suggestions on how I can fix this?
try spraying 1 light coat then let it tack up then 1med. wet coat and let it dry completely. I think you have 1 week before you have to coat it with something.

I know with DP 50, you do not have a week to paint over it. More like 4 hours or less!!
I beleive that you may have some silicon that has imbedded into the glass itself. You need to strip it down to the glass and then treat the glass for the contamination. Just my .02 cents worth. :flag
Sounds like it may be some edge lifting or something similar. Go here to use this really good troubleshooting guide. I had to reference it quite often when I was repainting my car. This is great info and good pics to show what they are referring to. http://www.sherwin-automotive.com/re...hooting_guide/
It's been my experience that when this problem happens....the feather edges aren't smooth enough. You probably need to feather that area into a much bigger area using a #600 paper. Once this is done, spray a few very light coats of primer on the area. Don't spray them "wet". The same thing will apply to the sealer coat....and the finish coat and clear. What's happening is the solvent is going down and lifting the paint layers. The wetter you spray...the more it will lift. If you have extra time.....prime.....seal.....and then let the car sit in the sun for a day or two to completely dry out before applying topcoat and clearcoat. You have to "baby" these areas sometimes and it's a royal PITA....but.....what can you do? The minute you get anxious and rush it....it will bite you in the butt.
Yes, I do it part time as a business, and full time for a major airline .
Excellent I have a Friend that is a pro.....He is doing my car now :yesnod:  ..I will send you some pics when it is done for evaluation
Thaks for all the advice guys. I re did the area yesterday and laid on several thin coats allowing more time for it to flash. This time it turned out great. I am going to do my wet sanding this morning and hopefully finish the paint.
