From my 73,
Shoulder harness retractor:

Area at back of seats:

Just took my driver seat out to put in a new bottom foam. Need any shots of that area?

y main problem seems to be that my passenger seat seems to far to the outside edge and it pinches my seatbelt. Any shots of the seat belt retractor and the guide (metal u shaped bracket) would help

Does the carpeting go under the seatbelt loop/bracket? If not, how/where does the seatbelt come through the carpet?
I had new interior installed on my 75. The seatbelt comes out between the door sill and the carpet. The carpet sticks out and looks frayed.

The carpet was cut around the plastic cover on the original installation.
I chose to cover the plastic cover with carpet instead. Just my preference.

Original carpet cut on my 73.

My installation.

The AIM for your model year clearly shows the detail of how that carpeting is cut and installed. You really NEED a copy.
