So my dad is finally giving me his 1977 L82 4-speed manual that I've wanted ever since he got it when I was 4 years old lol. It runs and drives but needs some TLC to the engine and trans. I eventually want to go ***** to the wall with this car but for now I want it fixed. So with that said.....

Does anyone know of any brackets that would bolt up to the block for a new alternator and ac compressor?
Any recommendations for an electric fan?
Trans: So the second gear sync in the 4 speed is shot and you can't down shift into it and itsee hard to shift into second. I'm thinking of rebuilding it but then I was thinking of going to a 5-6 speed. I just don't know what are my options and is it easy to do or very labor intensive and expensive?
Any and all suggestions and recommendations are very much appreciated. If you can leave some websites I can check out also that would be great. Thanks!
