Default replacement intake

The 79 I am working on sat for a while before I got it several months back. I would like to replace the quadrojet carb with the extra edelbrock carb I got for my 72 LT1. I believe it a 650 cfm, but it's a square bore.

Which after market intake manifold out there suitable and replace the stock intake on this L48 and able to use the square bore edelbrock carb? Thanks in advance

Summit Racing stocks several different square-bore intake manifolds to work on small block engines.

The regular edelbrock performer manifold is made to except both a Q-JET or a square bore carb its also stock height of you L/48 manifold. part # 2101 will do the job. All of the performer low rise edelbrock manifolds (exception for the eps vortech) are double drilled and can use either spread or square carbs. This way you can go back and forth to either carb if you want to.
