Default Wiper issues

Ok, here we go. Started today on my non working wipers. I traced to problem down to a blown fuse, a disconnected board of some sort behind pass seat which was missing a relay which I found beside the battery. Now the dang things wont stop! I have low and high and low speed in the delay selection. The wipers will not park or attempt too. Ive searched but no step by step or repeat common fixes. Results varied from the park switch to the main switch among other things. Any and all replies welcomed. Thanks in advance...Vic

Why not mention the year of the car?

Im still messing with this thing. Im assuming i have red yellow and white at the wiper connector. Yellow or what looks to be is in the center of the plug. Its hot at all times.terminal 1 closest to gear box has ground at all switch positions. Terminal 3 has ground in all switch positions BUT the highest selection on the switch. My switch is vertically mounted in the dash. Im not sure if this is off or high speed. The motor is grounded as well as the gear box. The on off switch in the car however isnt getting a ground to exterior metal parts. Is th8s supposed to be or not? I havent pulled the switch yet as its going to be a pain. Was procrastinating on doing that.

Im begining to think i have mixed parts. I have a pulse style switch with delay and washer pump but my motor has no washer pump. Im guessing this could cause a problem. My motor only has a three circuit plug and a separate red with a plug. Only other wires is the two goin to the motor from the gear box and a ground spade mounted to the motor...... geesh this place used to be hoppin with responses to a member havin problems. Imma still post my progress. As some poor soul with a similar issue could read this and save some time.

I've looked at this post twice but there wasn't a year and I didn't have time to go looking.

The washer pump is located in the washer jar on your car, not on the motor like previous years.

A pluse wiper motor would have a cover on it that looks like this. (it will have a wire coming out of it).

There is a ton of wiper information on my website, if you go to the bottom it's under tech... here is a link http://repairs.willcoxcorvette.com/?yt=1981&s=wiper

Wilcox, did you see post six? Any ideas to where to look. I read somewhere here that the 1 and 3 terminals are supposed to flip flop being ground and mine isnt. Term 1 shouldnt be a ground constantly right?
