I've been looking at seats. The ones in my 69 are bad. There is no support and they might even be broken. They can be twisted and warped very easy. I've seen mention of Fiero seats but I can't find any. I really don't like the C5 seats all that much. I'd love the late C3 clam-shell seats but can't find any of those either. However I see lots of C4 seats. There is a nice pair on fleabag for about $500 that look pretty nice and I like the look. Has anyone put C4 seats in an early C3 and if so how difficult is it?

I found a complete Fiero about 3.5 hrs away near Dallas for $300. I wouldn't know what to do with the rest. Perhaps I could sell it to a salvage yard for a couple hundred bucks.
I ran with 84 seats in my 77 for a few months. I liked the extra bolstering and such, but could not get them to ever fit like I wanted.I have read a couple threads about people using them, Most people I have seen remove the seat tracks and bolt the seats to the floor to get them to fit better. I had modified my slides bolt the 84 seats to, and they were almost too tall (hence way most people do it the other way). Plus the extra bulk of the seat back eliminated the little bit of storage behind the seat where I keep my tool kit. Not exactly what you were asking.... but that is my experience.

Put in your Corvette seats and sell it as a Fiero with Corvette seats.

Thanks for the info. That is exactly what I need. So C4 seats are out.
I have a set of C4 seats in Dallas if you want them. I ran them several years. The thing to keep in mind with them is that they sit about 1" higher, so if you're tall they'll be a problem. Nice thing about them is they fold so you can still get into the cubby.
Let me know if you want them, I'll let them go for cheap.
