I'm trying to install the starter brace on my 427 and it doesn't reach the stud on the end of the starter. It's a GM part and doesn't even come close. Could the starter be the wrong one? Thanks in advance.
The brace that I have is a bit shorter than the one in your picture. I did some checking and there are 2 braces for a 427. I must've ordered the wrong one. I ordered another and I'm hoping it fits. Thanks Mooser.
